Intro

Hi my name is Ryan Quinten and I'm from San Diego, Ca. I'm currently a freshman at the best college in the world, UCSB! I'm majoring in computer engineering and will most likely minor in economics. I'm determined to get the most out of my college experience by having the time of my life while balancing my academics. I want to maintain the grades I was getting in high school and make connections with new people. It's only been a little over a week and I've already made a lot of new friends that I keep for a long time. The environment at UCSB is so relaxing. Whenever you feel stressed, the beach is a short walk away. Also there is multiple gyms, where I can play my favorite sport, basketball, and also get a great workout in. It's inspiring being around so many intelligent people. It makes me want to make sure I succeed in life after college. My parents never went to college, and they were never financially stable. This pushes me to give my self the best opportunity to get a really high paying job, so my kids won't ever have to worry about money. In the next 4 years, I want to learn what it really means to be a Gaucho.
